How to use it
Soften it first
Warm a small amount between your fingers. Dense cream applied cold drags and you use twice as much.
Last thing at night
On clean skin, after everything else. This is the layer that goes on top and stays there.
Keep going past the jaw
The neck shows age before the face does and gets looked after long after it should have.
It's a rich cream. Give it three or four nights before you decide — most skin takes a few days to settle with something this dense.
Read the list backwards
Ingredients run strongest to weakest. On most night creams, water wins that race by a distance.

Comparison columns describe the category in general, not any specific brand.
What's inside and why it's there
Thirty-five ingredients, 99% of natural origin and 27% organic, certified COSMOS Natural by Ecocert. With organic shea butter, sea buckthorn, elder and cranberry seed oil, plus vitamin E and an oil-soluble vitamin C. Gluten free and vegan, GMO free, recyclable packaging.
Organic Aloe, Cocoa Butter, Jojoba + Sunflower
All four organically farmed, and all four ahead of the water at twenty-eighth. That ordering is the single most telling thing on this page, because it's the one claim a brand can't fake — ingredient lists run strongest first by law.
Glycosphingolipids + Glycolipids
Plant-derived lipids from the same family your skin barrier is built from. When that barrier is worn thin, water escapes and everything else gets in — these are what the cream is named for.
Three Waxes and a Resin
Sunflower seed wax, Japan wax and sal resin. They're the reason a night cream can be this rich without sliding off onto your pillow by two in the morning.
Questions people ask before buying
They're lipids that make up part of your skin's barrier — the layer that holds water in and keeps irritants out. When it's depleted, skin loses water faster and reacts to things it normally wouldn't. This cream uses plant-derived ceramides and glycosphingolipids rather than synthetic ones.
Weight, mostly. It's built around butters, oils and waxes that would sit heavily under make-up and sunscreen but suit the hours when your skin repairs itself and nothing else has to go on top. There's also no SPF in it, which is the other reason it isn't a daytime product.
If your skin is oily, probably yes — we'd point you somewhere lighter rather than pretend otherwise. For normal and dry skin it's about right, though it's worth giving it three or four nights. Skin often takes a few days to settle with something this dense before it starts feeling better rather than coated.
Yes, and it's a sensible thing to put over one. Actives go on first, this seals over the top. A well-supplied barrier is exactly what makes a retinoid easier for skin to tolerate.
Please do. The skin there is thinner than your face, gets almost no attention, and shows age earlier as a result. Habit is the only reason most routines end at the chin.
Because twenty-seven other things come before it. Ingredients are listed in order of quantity, so a cream with Aqua at twenty-eighth of thirty-five is telling you something a marketing claim can't. Most moisturisers are water first by a wide margin.
Structure. Sunflower seed wax, Japan wax and sal resin hold the cream together and keep it on your face rather than on the pillowcase. They're also part of why it seals so well overnight.
Lightly, by our standards — white floral with lavender over something herbaceous, and only two allergens declared on the label, linalool and limonene. That's among the shortest lists in the range, which matters in a product designed for a compromised barrier.
None. Phthalates are a synthetic class of ingredient, and the scents across our range are built from natural raw materials instead.
Goes on after
This is the last layer of the night. Whatever's treating your skin goes on underneath it.
