How to use it
Morning and evening, on clean skin.
One small dab per eye
Picked up on the ring finger. It's the weakest of the four and presses lightly without you trying.
Tap along the bone
Beneath the eye and out towards the temple. Never drag, and stay off the lash line.
Let it set
A minute is plenty before concealer. Make-up over unsettled cream is what makes it crease.
Eye cream, gel, or your face cream
A lot of people use their moisturiser around the eyes. Here's what a product built for the area does differently.
| Feature | AVNOIA | Eye gel or serum | Face cream used around the eyes |

What's inside and why it's there
Thirty-five ingredients, 100% of natural origin and 10% organic, certified COSMOS Natural by Ecocert. With organic sunflower oil, rice bran oil, vitamin E and an oil-soluble vitamin C. Gluten free and vegan, GMO free, recyclable packaging. Contains shea butter and horse chestnut, so it is not labelled nut free.
Grape Leaf, Horse Chestnut + Ginkgo
Organic grape leaf and organic horse chestnut with ginkgo alongside. All three have long histories in products aimed at the look of tired, shadowed under-eyes, and having them in one formula is less common than it sounds.
Sunflower, Rice Bran + Japan Wax
Unusual in an eye cream, and the reason this one has body without needing to be greasy. A cream that stays on the bone overnight isn't a cream that has migrated into your eye by morning.
Hyaluronic Acid, Two Weights
Hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid and sodium hyaluronate, holding water at different depths, with betaine and glycerin. Fine lines around the eye look deeper when the skin there is dry.
Questions people ask before buying
No. Organic shea butter and horse chestnut seed extract are both in the formula, which puts this outside the nut free label that most of our range carries. Worth checking with your doctor before buying if you have a nut allergy.
A dab the size of a grain of rice for each eye. Eye cream doesn't work harder in larger quantities — it just has nowhere to absorb and ends up travelling somewhere you didn't want it.
Carefully, yes. It's gentle enough for the upper lid, but keep it away from the lash line and out of the eye itself. Most of what you apply on the bone works its way upward anyway.
That depends entirely on what's causing them, and it's worth being straight about it. Shadows from hollowing, or darkness from blood vessels showing through thin skin, are structural — no cream changes those. What plant extracts like these can do is work on how rested the area looks, and hydration makes a visible difference to both.
Yes. Serum first, this over the top, and an eye mask after it if you use one. The cream is the sealing step rather than the treatment step.
Less than most, because of the waxes. Sunflower, rice bran and Japan wax give the cream enough structure to stay put rather than spread as you sleep. Using a small amount helps as much as the formula does.
Grape leaf and horse chestnut both have long-standing uses in products concerned with circulation and the appearance of tired skin, which is exactly the complaint under-eyes generate. Ginkgo joins them as an antioxidant. All three are toward the end of the list, where actives in a cream usually sit.
Yes, softly — cotton and floral. Four allergens appear on the label: limonene, geraniol, coumarin and linalool. Skin around the eye reacts more readily than anywhere else on the face, so do a 24-hour patch test on your inner arm before using it there.
It's built for normal and oily skin, and the body comes from waxes rather than a heavy oil load. Use a genuinely small amount and keep it on the bone — piling cream onto thin skin is what tends to cause trouble, more than the formula itself.
The rest of the eye routine
This is the sealing step. Anything thinner goes on before it.
