Organic aloe leaf juice is the base instead of water, which doesn't turn up until eighth of twenty-one ingredients. After washing or shaving, on clean skin. A small amount spread thin is plenty — a gel doesn't need piling on, and using more won't do anything except waste it.
It sinks in within about ten seconds and leaves no film, so sunscreen goes straight over the top and nothing slides. Avoid direct contact with the eyes, and give a fresh shaving nick a minute before you go over it.

If your skin is genuinely dry, this won't be enough by itself — use it as a hydrating layer under a cream. It contains fragrance from natural essential oils carrying limonene, linalool, geraniol and citral, all declared on the INCI. Freshly shaved skin reacts more easily than usual, so patch test for 24 hours if scent is ever a problem for you.
